How can I get ppl information in ghana?

Have a friend in ghana. He went to uk an then said had to go back in ghana we lost connection an now I can't get a hold of him so need know if he there still or missing. My friend has a child with him too an I'm really worried he was working out in ghana an some things went bad an he was gonna come back home an was waiting on papers in uk then he said had to go back an nothing since can some one plz help
