Do you know any music from the rest of the world?

i'm trying to find music, and i thought it might be interesting to know if there are like bands that are as classic as the beatles, but from other countries, ones the outside world doesn't know about. so like is there a "beatles" equivalent in Ghana, or something like that? Do you know of any musicians who are considered ultra-legendary inside their country? please tell me, and nobody sub-par. only like really really really highly regarded musicians.
