South Africa or Ghana?

Hey there...have you thought about India? I spent 2010 doing an internship abroad through Leave UR Mark and they have tons of volunteer programs. It's much cheaper than CCS so that might solve your problem about raising as much money. They can also help budget you per month and India works out to be quite cheap compared to South Africa and China. Don't be anxious...be open and accepting of the amazing adventure of traveling and you will have an awesome time.
