How can i rent a 3bedroom condo, townhouse, or apartment in Santa Monica on a $2500 budget?

I have to relocate to Santa Monica, CA for work in July from Newport Beach, CA. Everything is outrageously expensive, however I have two kids and want them to attend Santa Monica school district instead of LA. Does anyone know the area and where I can find a cheaper place?
