What kind of electric bass guitar is rite for me?

I would take a look at some ESP basses, they have great variety for five string basses if that's the kind of metal you play. Also, Dean basses are excellent tone and quality. For slap, and fast playability, look more towards the yamaha and other technical musical instrument brand names.
