Please help with my guitar problem?

About the plucking noise when you hold the string you have to hold that string down HARD with the tip of your finger (not your nail). Thats why songs are always talkin about "...played until my fingers bled...."-Summer of 69 song... You will actually get blisters then your fingers will be hard after playing a while. It's worth it :) Youtube offers a lot of instructional vids.
