Is this a dating scam? Please help?

Need more details to check more accurately. But from what i have read, i would be suspicious. Many Many scammers will wait months before they ask for money. Easy test is ask him to send you a photograph, while he is holding a sheet of paper with, YOUR NAME clearly written on it. You would be surprised how many fail. PS, many scammers claim to live in the US and work in IT.
