Has anyone used cloth diapers?
I use a mixture of cloth and disposables for my two, but I use a service, so I can just send my dirties back and they bring me clean ones. I have my own covers and launder those. That is a good "in between" option if you have a service in your area. I found a lot of great information at greenmountaindiapers.com. They sell diapers, covers, inserts, and diaper-related gear and have great explanations about what items go with what items, how the fits are different, and how to clean and care for things. BTW, inserts are extra absorbent material that you use in addition to the cloth diaper to make them last a bit longer. They can be made out of different things and they are like a liner to put inside the diaper. You may or may not need them, depending on how you use them and on your baby. Good luck. I think cloth diapers are fabulous.
