Hungarian dentists (or Budapest dentists): are they the best?

I am doing extensive research to find the best (cheap) dental treatment (not braces). I live in Canada but I avoid Canadian dentists because they are outrageously expensive. I used to go to the UK years ago(excellent work!) but this time I need to spend less money. I am currently on holiday and I have been asking around. Many people told me that I should go to Budapest (Hungary) because they are advanced in dentistry and they do good work for affordable prices. I checked online and they do seem to be affordable. Any of you had experience recently in this country? Of course I was also thinking of Thailand, but their prices seem to be a little higher and I have not heard positive-only feedback.
