Why would anyone want to move to new york state?

i live here and the taxes are high the houses are overpriced the laws are strict and its full of idiots i can imagine new york city because of its glorios there but outside of it i hear people in other states thinking about moving here why and why do people live here in the first place the only reason i do is because im not technically old enough to move on my own yet but why would anybody of age do so its the worst state in america i belive espessially the laws they are outrageously strict if there is any law that is only in a few states new york is definently one of the few states to have that law almost every time and the houses are like well over twice as much as they are in 85 percent of the other states not to even menchine the high taxes sorry bout the no grammar or spelling correctly honestly im just too lazy to take my time to make my question perfect but im sure its good enough for anyone to be able to make out what im saying i appoligize i know some people dont like that
